reminder that if you’d rather have a potentially dead kid from measles/rubella/whooping cough/etc than an autistic one you’re really fucked up and probably shouldn’t be having a kid period
Here’s a nice little tune just for Autism Speaks and all their supporters! :D
WHITE PEOPLE PLEASE FUCKING LEARN THIS
LEARN IT PLEASE GOD JESUS CHRIST
In fact, every person not of a certain group who is trying to tell a member of that certain group anything about themselves, learn this.
Especially if you’re interrupting a conversation between two members of that group.
Even more so if they are expressing pain and anger.
Dear “autism moms” of Autism Speaks and the like who aren’t anywhere close to actually being on the spectrum,

LISTEN TO THIS BITCHES AND STFU UNTIL THE ACTUAL AUTISTICS HAVE FINISHED SPEAKING.
I’m in for some special times if I get that protest together :|
ATLANTA AREA AUTISTICS: LISTEN UP
Autism Speaks is having their walk on May 20th at I believe Atlantic Station. Anyone interested in organizing and participating in a protest? The more people I can get in on this, the better, and I think this is something that needs to be done.
Dear Kroger,
Kindly take your florescent lights and crowds and every noise known to man and eat a bag of dicks. I’m sick of this shit. And for the whoever’s writing the schedule lately that’s had me bagging and little else, fuck you. Making me bag //more// isn’t going to make it easier for me. It’s just going to make it worse for everyone, including you. It isn’t going to make my brain magically rewire itself to not be autistic and get overstimulated after too much of that shit. If you think it’s so cute to pull shit like that, why not go out of your way to make sure someone with physical limitations is scheduled to the most back-breaking type of work in the store? Maybe if they just think hard enough, their bad hip/back/etc will magically fix itself too!
I really need to get off my ass and find a new job :|

As my contribution to the clusterfuck that is the autism tag, how about a picture of me, an Aspie, cosplaying a character who is also aspie as fuck. IT’S LIKE DOUBLE ASPERGER’S OH NOEZ. Man if one case of the burgers of ass is horrible suffering (for poor innocent parents/siblings/other non-autistics of course), then double is like the worst thing ever. Worse than double AIDS, or double cancer, or double ebola. Think of all allistic people whose lives I’m ruining by existing now! The tragedy!
Autistic Problem #45: People discouraging or actively trying to stop you from pursuing your special interests because they don’t fall within the narrow range of things it’s okay for people to be interested in or excited about.
Oh god, this bullshit so much. I will never get for the life of me what’s so wrong about a girl preferring to talk about insects or dinosaurs or Japanese robot cartoons than whatever flavor of the week show/boyband/etc her peers are into. After all, which one of those can you make a career out of, hmmm?
Feels good man, etc.
Autistic Problem Number 12: When people think you’re weird for being 22 years old and still willing to play Pokémon games for more than four hours at a time.
Do people ACTUALLY do this? I keep hearing about how people are anxious that others will judge them, but I’ve yet to hear any story of anyone actually judging over it.
That’s not even an exclusively autistic problem, unless every single friend I have is autistic. o_o
I’m 100% genuine doctor/serebii confirmed autistic and this isn’t an autistic-exclusive problem but a lot of parents and peers of autistic people feel more pressured to teach them to grow up and conform to doing more “adult” things and feel like playing a kids’ game at 22 is a problem/an “autistic” thing so they encourage their adult offspring not to have fun by telling them it’s not normal. A lot of the time they don’t realize that they’re not playing pokemon at 22 because they’re autistic. I’ve seen it happen.
Parents of non-spectrum 22 year old Pokefreaks really don’t seem to care as much. lol it’s not an autistic thing it’s an AWESOME PERSON THING silly adults.
Writing horrible porn/guro fanfiction about Pokemon characters counts as an “adult” thing though, right? What about that, clueless NT parents? :|

Autistic problem number 25: When people tell you that you would be able to do the things you can’t do if you “really tried.”
Sup bagging at Kroger. Lemme tell ya, all I need to do is believe hard enough and I won’t get over-stimulated by being on the front end too long! Lemme tell ya! :/
